Many leaders are amazing abstract thinkers. It is what makes them visionaries. It is what makes them inspiring.
But all good leaders have the ability to make the abstract into reality. To actually accomplish the vision.
To me what sets the good leaders apart from the great ones is the ability to live in both worlds simultaneously. The ability to constantly be dreaming of the improvements and the next thing, managing that change; while excellently leading the current reality and driving the organization forward.
